JAMAICA NATIONAL / NATIONAL WATER COMMISSION
The Jamaica National Building Society and National Water Commission have joined forces to make the payment of utility bills easier, stress-free and more convenient to all their clients.
The bill-payment initiative between both institutions has been in negotiations since last year, was officially was signed on October 8, 2000. The service was piloted internally with Jamaica National staff and became open to the public on January 2, 2002. Customers are now able to pay their water bill at Jamaica National Building Society Branches conveniently located across the island.
The Jamaica National has embarked on this programme in its continuing effort to offer value-added services to its customers. The new initiative with the National Water Commission joins existing payment facilities with other organizations such as the Jamaica Public Service, Digicel, and Cable & Wireless.
