JN Money Shops

A quick glance at the map of Jamaica will confirm that financial institutions are generally located in urban areas and the vast majority of citizens in rural parishes and inner city communities have to travel long distances to transact banking and other financial activities.

JNBS Money Shops are hybrid branches which offer a myriad of financial services in one location. They have flexible operating hours, including being open on weekends, and are located within populations centers, allowing easy access for residents.

Services currently offered include collection of remittances, bill payments, and JNBS mortgage payments; as well as some JNBS savings account transactions, such as savings and withdrawals, FX trading, mobile phone top ups and telegraphic transfers.

As part of the Pay as You Go campaign launched in May 2012 and undertaken at the twelve JN Money Shops located across the island, in-store promotions will be introduced  that will offer customers the opportunity to win prizes for processing transactions.

The campaign is also being used to highlight the services and convenience offered by the JN Money Shops, while providing incentives for their use.
