JN Preferred Lender Partnership
In its 138 years, Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) has guided its members in making one of their most important lifetime decisions—purchasing a home of their own. And, now we have refined that process under our: Preferred Lender Partnership (PLP).
Under this programme, JNBS partners with local real estate developers; provides promotional support; and informs our local and overseas members about the housing solutions of our Partners.
As a result, our Members derive major benefits from the PLP, including—assistance from JN’s panel of attorneys to prepare mortgage documents at a reduced fee; discounts on valuation fees from JN approved valuers; and access to National Housing Trust benefits. In addition, members can access JN Home Enhancement Loans to acquire an air conditioner, water tank or a solar heater, among other housing enhancements.
Members can also receive a one month moratorium on their first month’s mortgage payment, which will be added to the term of the loan; and, there is automatic membership in the JN Show Your Card & Save programme, which offers discounts from merchants in the UK and Jamaica.
