Overview
In 2006, Jamaica National Building Society acquired Pelican Finance Limited from NEM Insurance Company (Ja) Limited. In a move to fully integrate the company into the JN Group, Pelican Finance became JN Finance Limited in February 2008. With this name change came a thrust to strengthen the entity with market repositioning and by widening its customer network.
JN Finance Limited has commenced operations on a positive note and is steadily commanding its share of the market. The organisation offers a suite of loans at attractive terms.
Insurance Premium Financing
These are short term loans, ranging from 3 to 10 months, for financing general insurance premiums. Insurance Premium Financing is available for motor policies and home insurance; and, the service is offered to individual policy holders as well as corporate organisations.
Consumer Loans
These can be acquired to cover a myriad of purchases including motor vehicles, computers, General Purpose Equipment and Machinery.
In addition to Bridge Financing and Real Estate Development loans, JN Finance provides working capital for entrepreneurs who require funding above the threshold of sister-company JN Small Business Loans Limited. These loans can be used to fund business expansion or construction financing. Commercial loans offered by JN Finance are an attractive option for small and medium size entrepreneurs looking to improve the viability of their businesses.
