JNBS Partners with Canadian Diabetes Association
Members of the Diaspora community in the Greater Toronto Area, including the areas of North York, Scarborough, Malvern and Brampton, were given an opportunity to learn more about the products and services of Jamaica National when they attended the Third Annual Black Diabetes Expo, in April.
The Expo, which targeted persons living with diabetes, was focused on informing persons about the disease. It was a full day event with a live cooking demonstration, panel discussion, and presentations by doctors who work within the Diaspora community.
Harrington Stephenson, Operations Manager at JN Toronto Representative Office, said the Society took the opportunity offered by the Expo to inform persons about Jamaica National.
“We briefed them about our Vacation Account, which gives them an opportunity to save for a vacation in Jamaica, especially as we will be celebrating Jamaica’s 50th as an independent nation, this year”, said Mr. Stephenson.
Members were also informed of the Society’s Mortgage Special of 9.4 per cent, one of the lowest in the Jamaican real estate market.
