MEET JAMAICA GIFT BAGS AT ATHLETES WELCOME DINNER
The more than 400 persons who attended the welcome dinner for the members of the Jamaican Track and Field team to the 2012 Olympic Games hosted by the University of Birmingham and the Birmingham City Council on Monday July 23 were treated to an array of authentic Jamaican gift items courtesy of participants of the Meet Jamaica programme.
The gift items, all authentic Jamaican products, included a ceramic piece from Sinclair’s ceramics courtesy of Jamaica National Building Society, miniature bottles of Appleton VX rum from Wray & Nephew Limited; Black River Jamaican chocolate; Hot Pepper Sauce from Walkerswood and playing cards from the University of Birmingham. The bags were designed and handmade by Things Jamaica Limited.
